# About GetGPTImage

GetGPTImage is an independent web app for creating and editing images with OpenAI's GPT Image 2 and GPT Image 2.5 models. We run the models for you, show the credit price before every generation, return the credits of failed ones, and are not affiliated with OpenAI.

## What we do

GetGPTImage turns the GPT Image models into a simple tool anyone can use in a browser: write a prompt or upload photos, pick a model, shape and size, and download the result. There is nothing to install and no API key to manage.

## The models

We offer GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst, tuned for precise images and edits; GPT Image 2.5 Flare, tuned for speed; and GPT Image 2, OpenAI's model from April 2026. They run through a commercial model API at the standard quality setting. Your prompts and images are sent to the model provider only to produce your results.

## Pricing you can check

Every image costs 16 credits at 1K, 40 at 2K and 80 at 4K, on any model, and the cost is shown before you generate. Signing up is free; credits come from monthly plans or one-time packs, payments are processed by Stripe, and failed, cancelled or blocked generations are refunded automatically.

## Your images and data

You keep the rights to your uploads and may use the images you generate for personal and commercial work under our terms. We store uploads and results to run your generations and show your history, never sell personal data, and delete data on request as described in the privacy policy.

## Safety

We do not allow illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or images that impersonate or harass real people. OpenAI's safety system also refuses some requests; a refused request costs nothing. Accounts that repeatedly break these rules are suspended.

## Independence

GetGPTImage is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI. GPT Image, GPT Image 2, GPT Image 2.5 and ChatGPT are OpenAI product names; we use them only to say which models the site runs, and our name, logo and colors are our own.

## Contact

For questions about your account, billing, refunds or data, write to us from the email address on your GetGPTImage account. Refund requests follow the refund policy and data requests follow the privacy policy.
